How to Setup Two-Factor Authentication with
Authenticator App (After Sign-Up)
Sign In to your Every Voice Account
#1. Open the Every Voice app to sign in. After the loading screen, you will arrive on this Sign In page.
#2. Type your username and password. Before submitting, you can check if your password was entered correctly by pressing the Eye icon. When ready, press Sign In to continue.
If you are running into any issues, try resetting your password by pressing Forgot Password, or reach out to support@counteveryvoice.org.
#3. To complete sign in, a two-factor authentication (2FA) code is required. Check the authenticator app you set up during the account registration process to find your verification code.
#4. Alternatively, you can select a different 2FA method, such as SMS, from the dropdown menu.
#5. Once you have received your verification code, enter it then press Continue.
If your time-based authenticator app code isn’t working, or you haven’t received a code to your alternative method., press Request another code. A message will appear letting you know if the code was resent successfully or not.
#6. You are now signed in!
On first sign in, or if you haven’t dismissed the help reminder, you see the Getting Started Guide.
#7. If the reminder has been dismissed, you will instead land on the My Causes page.
From here you can start lobbying your reps with the causes you care about.
How to Setup Two-Factor Authentication with
Authenticator App (After Sign-Up)
#1. After completing your registration, you will be asked to setup Two-Factor Authentication. Click Continue.
#2. On the Setup Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) page, you will be given instructions on setting up 2FA.
#3. Copy Your Key, and enter Your Key in your Authenticator App following the instructions listed. You can also select Scan a QR Code.
